Heather Benedict is an Ithaca native who takes joy in caring for patient’s in the community she grew up in. She is a registered nurse who started with the practice in February 2009. She graduated from TC3 in 2005 and has plans to continue on for her BSN. Heather has close relationships with her grandparents that as contributed to the special care she gives to the elderly.

Michelle Adelewitz, RN joined our office in March of 2011. She works in the office Full-Time. Michelle has been a Nurse since 2005. Michelle is a La Leche Leader (An international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed). Michelle also is Co-Leader for ICAN of Ithaca. In her spare time, she enjoys the festivities of the Ithaca Farmers Market. She has been an incredible addition to our practice.

Carol Bloomgarden, RN, BSN: Carol joined IthacaMed in May of 2012 after several years with Visiting Nurse Services of Ithaca & Tompkins County. She is a visual artist and has been in the Greater Ithaca Art Trail since 2003, using a technique of creating images on paper and glass using poems and stories, written really, really tiny. She lives in Trumansburg with her husband Gordon Bonnet, and several very sweet four-legged friends.
